Dit ontaarde in een post-it war in Lower Manhattan. Spider Man, Angry Birds, Andy Warhol kopieën en berichten met allerlei teksten versierden de ramen van de kantoren. En niet alleen in geel maar in alle kleuren van de regenboog. Na het simpele "hi" volgde aan de overkant van de straat een bericht van een rivaliserende onderneming: "sup", in het Engels een afkorting van 'hoe gaat het ermee?' Het ontaarde in een creatieve explosie tussen de twee gebouwen, waarin voornamelijk communicatie- en reclamebureau's zijn gevestigd. Alles mocht, zolang het van zelfklevende post-its is gemaakt. [![](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png)](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png) ### Opvallend De fabrikant 3M heeft waarschijnlijk niet kunnen dromen dat een aantal gerenommeerde reclamebureaus zoveel tijd in de opvallende promotie van hun product zouden steken, zonder ook maar één cent in rekening te brengen. Het bedrijf stuurde de reclamebureau's koffertjes vol post-its en tips voor de mooiste kunstwerken. Op Twitter valt het laatste nieuws over de kunstwerken te genieten onder de hashtag [#CanalNotes](https://twitter.com/search?q=%23CanalNotes&src=typd) of [#PostItWar](https://twitter.com/search?q=%23PostItWar&src=typd) en deze berichten hebben grote populariteit.
